CHEFA requires all new members to attend one New Member Meeting before joining CHEFA (Christian Home Educators of the Fresno Area). We believe it is important to become acquainted with CHEFA’s policies, and gain an understanding of the benefits and responsibilities of CHEFA membership. It is an opportunity to ask any questions you may have. It will also help us to get to know you and find out what your specific needs may be.
BOTH parents are strongly encouraged to attend, but it is not mandatory. You may bring your children, as long as you have taught them to sit and do a quiet activity, such as drawing, coloring, reading, etc., so that they won’t be a distraction to the meeting.
IF YOU HAVE RECEIVED A CHEFA NEW PACKET in the mail, please do bring it with you, as we will be going over that material in the meeting.
After the meeting, you may submit your Membership Application, $50 Membership Dues for the school year and any other forms.
ATTENDANCE AT ONLY ONE MEETING IS REQUIRED FOR MEMBERSHIP.

August 17, 2010 – Tuesday at 7 pm to 8 p.m. – Fig Garden Library Motsenbacher September 21, 2010 – Tuesday at 7pm to 8 pm – Fig Garden Library Gale October 26, 2010 – Tuesday at 7 pm to 8 pm – EV Free Church Goosen January 18, 2011 New Member Meeting, Location TBA
